The Environmental Institute
The Institute was founded in 1989 in Stockholm as the Institute for Studies in Environmental Law, changing its name to The Environmental Institute in 2007 to reflect the broadening of its activities.
The institute a) promotes better environmental practices through the collation and dissemination of relevant, accurate, impartial and current information related to the impact of man’s activities on the natural environment and b) advances the education of the public in matters related to the environment thereby promoting behaviour that minimises environmental harm
